Leading the Charge we welcome Brett Jacobs. Brett’s been making waves recently, with two tracks coming out on the next FUSE London release and a full artist EP on Luna Records to be released this May. His productions have graced the decks by the likes of tINI & Yaya (Desolat), Enzo Siragusa, Chris Lattner. Up coming collaborations with many artists, include one with Samu.l. It’s clear Brett knows how to lay down a beat. If you’ve yet to experience Brett DJ, expect some fluid, grooving deep and dubby tech house.
Born in East London 1987 and obsessed with music from an early age, it was not long before Brett started channelling his natural enthusiasm into a creative medium when receiving his first pair of turntables at the tender age of 11. The natural progression from bedroom to dance floor occurred at just 16 years of age when Brett took his unique sound and packaged it into his very own parties that took place across numerous establishments in and around London.
After many years in the booth, DJing has seen Brett take on countless dance floors to date. Well-travelled, he has played across the globe from his hometown of London, across the UK and on to Portugal, Ibiza, Latvia, Australia, amongst many others.
Come 2008 and an already vastly experienced DJ, with an uncannily attuned ear to the dance music scene, he picked up his first music production software package in the form of Logic Pro. Finding his feet, Brett spent many hours learning the finer intricacies of digital music production via the many self –learning sources available and online music production courses. Never one to be content, and with passion still running deep within his veins, Brett decided in early 2011 to undertake sound engineering studies at the Islington Music Workshop in London in which he achieved beneficial results.
With each day passing, Brett is becoming more and more the accomplished producer. His distinct deep and dubby tech house sound is already catching the ears of some of the industries biggest names such as tINI (Desolat), Chris Lattner (moon harbour) and Enzo Siragusa (Fuse) and the future is beginning to look very promising for this talented young individual.
2012 sees Brett spending a lot of time in the studio focused on developing his sound and further expanding his ever building reputation on the House scene. With his debut EP ‘Beat Parade’ set for release on Luna records in May 2012 as well as planned releases for the Fuse London imprint, he is well on track to fulfilling his vast potential…

Rich Barnard & Dan Jackson
DJ & producer duo from Essex/London, since the release of their debut EP ‘Chicago Soul’ in June 2011 the pair have been busy with numerous remix requests. They now have a steady stream of releases lined up for the remainder of the year and are hard at work in the studio focusing on creating more original tracks.
At the age of 22 they have played at some of London’s best clubs alongside various big name DJ’s. From all night events to intimate daytime parties at Shoreditch’s Public Life the boys have shown the versatility needed to please any crowd, and a real talent for warming up dance floors.
The project is pleased to welcome Black Booms, coming through our collaboration with the Point Blank music college. Having both DJing and production skills throughout a variety of sounds, this warm up set should have a multiple of flavours.
